National League Predictions

NL East : New York Mets
Okay, okay, obviously this is only because I'm a Mets fan. I have no real pick for the NL East, praying for the Mets, but really really like the underdog Marlins. I don't like the Phillies and their injury problems, as well as the Braves and their life after Bobby Cox. Let's pray Mets, and hey, you never know!

NL Central : Cincinnati Reds
With Chapman, I think Rookie of the Year this year, Arroyo, Cordero, Leake, and Edinson Volques, they are STACKED at Pitching. You look at hitters like Joey Votto, Jay Bruce, Jonny Gomes, Edgar Renteria, and Scott Rolens, and wonder how many wins can this team put up! Brandon Phillips' swag will shut teams up as they cruise right to the 2011 World Series.

NL West : Rockies
Including their amazing Spring Training thus far, when it comes September and October, this team always finishes strong. I can see the Giants winning because of their successes last year, but with acquisitions like Ty Wiggington, and hitters like Tulo, Ty, Willy Tavares, and RBI Machine Todd Helton this team will be great! Lets not forget Ubaldo Jiminez, Esmil Rodgers and Jason Hammel in that pitching staff. This Rockies team is a real, real good ball club. Let's see where this leads us...

AL Wildcard : NL East Team / Cardinals
I can see the Cardinals making a run in the Playoffs, but see the Reds as a much better team. WIth this being said, I cant put the Cards above the Reds but maybe above a Second placed NL East team. We'll see what happens but the Cards are good maaaan.

AL Champ : Cincinnati Reds

American League Predictions

AL East : Boston Red Soxs
Carl Crawford, Adrian Gonzalez and the rest of the Soxs are going for it all this year, and they're the real deal. Ellsbury coming off his best spring Spring Training in 3 years!

AL Central : Chicago WhiteSoxs
With the addition of Adam Dunn, I would like to see the White Soxs to succeed. With the very possible occurrence of a Dunn injury, I can easily see the Twins, if Mauer and Morneau stay healthy, snagging up the AL Central.

AL West : Texas Rangers
Defending AL Champions can definitely contend for this AL West Title. Yes, they lost Cliff Lee, but they have the best lineup in the West. I can see the Angels make a run, but fall short because the Rangers are the best overall team in the AL West.

AL Wildcard : Tampa Bay
With the additions of Manny and Damon, I can see this team succeeding. The AL East is hard to tell. But my predictions is that an AL East team will easily be the Wild Card. Blue Jays and Yankees are very thirds, if not the Wildcard or Division.

AL Champ : Boston Red Soxs

Melo = Money

Now looking at the season, was it better that the Knicks got STAT over LBJ? Yep... Not only can our recent pickup Melo finish what LBJ has been trying to do for the last 7 games, but so far I'm likin Stoud+Melo over Dwade+LBJ+Bosh... Strong Finishing NYK > PreMature Heat

Tiki Barber To Come Out of Retirement

Can Tiki Barber Help ANY NFL team, if we do infact have a 2011-2012 season?

NO, the answer is simply no. Would I love to see Tiki attempt to play again, yes. Would I like to see him suceed? Yes. Will it happen? No. It's not his age, it's not his talent. It's the fact that he has not taken a hit since 2006, and with that being said, I don't know if anyone can come back into the NFL from that long at the age of 36 and try and play football. MAYBE a quarterback, but we are talking about a running back, someone who gets hit every play they recieve the ball. To say that someone can help an NFL at the Running Back position the age of 36, coming into a season after 4 years of retirement and playing in the NFL at a time where they saw the most fines for hits EVER. This is a no-brainer, Tiki Barber is NOT going to be a help to ANY NFL team. Maybe the Bills. KIDDING, they can screw anything up.
